We are committed to forging and maintaining lasting relationships with our clients and partners by providing a complete and professional service in all aspects and stages of the contracting process.
Varel Engineering is committed to operating the organisation in accordance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 2007, including any other amended or additional legislation and regulations relevant to the company. The Managing Director has overall responsibility for health & safety. This includes the health & safety policy formulation, implementation and review. In addition, the Managing Director will ensure relevant health & safety objectives and targets are set, necessary measures implemented and performance reviewed annually. The company recognises its legal responsibility to health & safety standards and is committed to the continual improvement of standards, accident prevention and performance throughout the organisation by the implementation of an effective health & safety management system. The company will provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment for its employees and others affected by its operations. It is the duty of all employees to act responsibly and to do everything that is reasonable to prevent injury to themselves, fellow workers and any person who may have occasion to visit the work site or the company’s premises, including members of the public. Employees and other relevant parties will be consulted on all matters affecting their health & safety and will be provided appropriate training in order that they can fulfil their responsibilities.
The policy will be kept up to date in order to maintain and improve health and safety standards. To ensure this, the policy and performance of the company will be periodically reviewed and amended if necessary. This policy is provided and explained to each employee and any other relevant parties by the Managing Director and asks them to act and comply with the policy in the spirit intended.
