Fire Safety Strategy

Our fire engineers develop fire safety strategy documents as guidance for achieving the requirements of the Building Regulations for new and existing residential and commercial buildings. Alternative approaches may also be used such as that described in BS 9999, or a fire engineered approach in developing a fire strategy for premises.

Our fire safety strategy will usually include:

• Fire safety systems
• Means of warning and escape
• Internal fire spread and protection of boundaries
• External fire spread
• Access and facilities for the Fire and Rescue Service
• Fire safety management for the building
